This is where a junior or senior in high school takes the general college courses and the state pays for them to take the classes. He lives in Hutchinson Minnesota and is the newest addition to MetroWeather.org as the Midwest Expert. After high school he plans to go to college in northwest Indiana and major in Meteorology and hopefully get a job with the National Weather Service. He is the shift manager at Papa Murphy's pizza in Hutchinson and is the webmaster for his school's website as well. When he has spare time, he likes to hang out with friends, watch movies, play Guitar Hero, scuba dive, travel, and storm chase. Jansen Smith is currently a senior in high school and lives in Owensboro, Kentucky. He is currently a meteorologist and the Ohio Valley Expert at Metroweather.org. After high school he plans to go to college at Purdue University and pursue a degree in Meteorology. After High School He plans to stay in town to the local community college to get the basic college classes out of the way, then He plans to continue college to major in Earth Science. He wants to be a teacher, earth science teacher, or a meteorologist, geologist, hydrologist, and storm chaser.
