Long Term Weather

12:10a.m.cst Tuesday:

Another major storm system will make its way into the Southeast later in the week ushering more heavy rain and severe weather.  This system will have a better punch then Monday's rainmaker.  It's going to produce more significant rainfall totals and widespread severe weather.  Their is still lots of uncertainity so many things can change.  So please stay tuned to Metroweather for the latest information.

High Pressure will works its way in during the weekend providing dry and warm conditions, but another strong system is possible, early next week.

NAtionally will include cities: Austin TX, Dallas/Ft Worth TX, Oklahoma CIty OK, Tulsa OK, Little Rock AK, Memphis TN, Fayetteville AK:  Damaging Winds (could be very sig and widespread), Large Hail (more of a threat in TX, OK, AK) correct me if i'm wrong on that,  Heavy Rain/Flooding both flash and of rivers,  And strong non thudnerstorm winds in excess of 30mph are all possible .  Can't forgot the tornadoes with all this shear there is a good chance that if a storm can get developed well enough even into West and Mid TN thurs and more so Friday there is a good chance of the storm rotating.  I don't hope anything of tragic will happen, but it something to really watch and pay attenion to.

Of course the main threat for a lot of us will be Flooding both Flash and River flooding, but we need to be alert of both forms.

In West/Mid TN and KY it looks like the culprit Thursday is a Quasi Stationaly warm front/boundary that move across the Mid South.  If we get a good deal of sun between events we could be in trouble.  This would setup would produce probably cluster of severe and poss rotating storms and maype even a supercell.  Friday the squall line with pos supercells may maintain a WInd/Isolated Tornado threat.

Also people do need to be alert with of both events.  Turn Around Dont Drown something people cant stress enough
